What forum software is the best from your experience?

Would like to host one of my clients websites, it is forum discussion board about different vehicles.
Require over 50 gbs of SSD and the opportunity to upgrade to bigger account.
Do you think VPS will work fine? What vps host is better from your views?
As for forum software, I know these are good: vBulletin, phpBB. What is better?
 
Just setup hosting with Exmasters.com vps host and am in the process of getting my new site up and running. With any new setup you always run into issues getting used to the hosts control panel, getting your applications set up, getting things working. Get Doubled RAM/HDD! A website migration doesn’t have anything to do with forum software.😝

Phpbb is fine and dandy, but it’s not as good as xenforo.
