Maria Branyas Morera, a US citizen, passed died at the age of 117, as her family shared on social media. She was the oldest person in the world. After French nun Sister André passed away in January 2023 at the age of 118, Morera was declared the oldest living person in the world by GWR. She told GWR that "order, peace and quiet a strong bond with family and friends, contact with nature, emotional stability, no worries, no regrets, lots of positivity, and staying away from toxic people" were the reasons she had lived such a long life. I pray for the peace of her soul. Is there anyone you know who has lived this long?

Oh wow, may her soul rest in peace. I only know of one Chinese person, I think he is still alive, he should be around 116 or there About.

I have read that Japanese live longer than the average age of people in other countries. My maternal aunt died at the age of 95. She was the only one I know who lived so many years; otherwise, most of my relatives didn't live more than 80 years.

That's true @Sanjeev the Chinese or Japanese tend to live longer, it could also be due to their lifestyle or the kind of food they eat.

Few of my colleagues went to Japan, and they saw that people over 70 years old work in the industries, unlike here, where people at this age grow old and become physically weak to work. Yes, I would also say it's because of their lifestyle.
