Self love is a big deal because you need to love yourself before you can effectively love another? Self love means a variety of things to different people. And they practice it in diverse ways. What does self love mean to you? How do you practice love for yourself?

Self love to me means taking care of yourself, understanding your weakness and strengths and accepting who you really are. Like you said we cannot love someone else when we do not love ourselves.
