Dealing with critical people can be challenging, but I've learned to handle it with empathy and assertiveness. I listen to their concerns, acknowledge their perspective, and address their criticism constructively. I set clear boundaries and avoid taking their negativity personally. By maintaining my self-worth and focusing on positive relationships, I rise above their criticism and create a shield of confidence. Remember, their words often reflect their own struggles, so I choose to respond with kindness and understanding.

Are critical people not the same people who give negative criticism? Well I don't give such people my precious time and attention because they don't deserve to have them.

This is the best thing to do, the more you give them attention, it means they have value and a say over your life. But when you ignore, them it's a clear sign they do not have power over you.

My dad is a very critical person and growing up as a child was very frustrating and affected my sanity. But as I became a man, I learned to ignore all those criticisms and we have a very functional relationship now.

True, one can even get distracted by those negative sentiments of theirs. But once you don't give them the light of day, nothing can shake you.

I am the master of the one line putdowns so am very good at giving it back. I am also a very aggressive man. Not too many will criticize me, but if they do they best not just be all mouth because I am not.

I was unable to understand who is critical in our lives.

If you're referring to those that criticize you, then let me start by saying that I believe criticism offers you the chance to become a better person. Any criticism I receive doesn't depress me.

I have one simple rule, just ignore them. There are already a lot of problems in our life, and why should we put pressure on ourselves by dealing with people are always critical. I keep myself away from negative people. I do not want to deal with any kind of negativity.

Exactly, that's why one has to build themselves mentally to be prepared for things like this.

In my opinion, such people do it because they have no achievements in life, so they want to criticize someone instead of themselves. Perhaps these people even need help because they cannot organize their own lives
