News Gazan youths with amputated and injured legs find care in the US, but face an uncertain future

Ayham Musalm, 13, is undergoing treated for glass shrapnel embedded in his knee and a broke leg. He sustained injuries when debris that flew from a neighbor's house struck his own. UNICEF revealed in December that at least 1,000 children in Gaza have had either of the legs amputated. According to a international non-governmental organization, in the first half of the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Gaza Strip saw the deaths or injuries of around 26,000 children, or little more than 2% of the region's total child population. They are going through a lot, especially the kids who aren't involved in the terrorists.

At least one thousand children? That's pretty high though. This is really serious.

Those who live by the sword, die by the sword. All of this disaster can and should be laid at the doorstep of Hamas. Israel had bent over backwards to try and come to agreements with Hamas before Oct.7, and like immature teenagers Hamas always demanded what was not possible to be granted.

It is good news that they were able to find care in the US, however it is true that their future is now uncertain, I mean, what does the future hold for a bunch of kids that have no legs? I do hope the best for them though.

It's not a good sign but what could be expected in a war. Innocent people have to pay price and the kids are paying for it.

Kudos to the United States for helping those ones out but I am sorry that I don't pity any of them. A typical Gazan is a terrorism sympathiser. They shout for joy when people are brutally killed by terrorists.

Absolutely, I also don't pity on Gazans because they don't show any mercy towards human being. They favour Hamas, which is a terrorist group.
