I have always been a firm believer that cats can learn words and I have seen so many videos where it has sounded as though cats are speaking, having cats as pets as well I have also noticed times where it sounded like they were saying something.

Yeah, that's very correct. I've heard cats say hello, no, what and so many other short words. Evolution will definitely make them learn how to talk more in the future.
