Dream rehearsal, a technique involving rehearsing and reimagining dreams, can help alleviate social anxiety disorder symptoms. By reworking distressing dream scenarios, individuals can develop greater control and confidence in social situations, translating to waking life. This approach can also enhance emotional regulation, self-awareness, and problem-solving skills, all of which are critical in managing social anxiety. By reframing dreams, individuals can cultivate a more resilient mindset and improved social interactions.

Yes it does help to some extent. It is more like facing your fears. When you are scared about something, you keep doing it until you get used to it, and it no longer scares you.
